Terms of service
The rules for placing orders and using the Fabrykuj service.
Last updated:
1. What this service is
Fabrykuj is an online ordering platform for manufactured parts. We take your CAD file, quote it automatically, and arrange production with a partner workshop and delivery to you. These terms form the contract between you and us, and constitute the regulations required by the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
- We act as the seller. You contract with us, not with the workshop, and we are responsible to you for the finished part.
- The service is available to businesses and to consumers. Where a clause applies only to one, it says so.
- You need an account to place an order, but not to get a quote.

2. Your account
You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email address, so there is no password to lose.
- Keep your email account secure — anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
- Business customers must give an accurate company name, address and NIP; these appear on the invoice.
- You may close your account at any time. Orders in production will still be completed and invoiced.
3. Placing an order
An order is a two-step process, and it is clear at each step whether you have committed to anything.
- You upload a file, choose technology, material and quantity, and receive a price. A quote is an invitation, not a contract, and is valid for 14 days.
- Placing the order is your offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email.
- We may decline an order — for example if the geometry cannot be manufactured, if the file is corrupt, or if we suspect the part infringes someone's rights. If we decline after payment, we refund you in full.
4. Prices and quotes
All prices are shown in Polish złoty. Prices are net; VAT is added at checkout at the applicable rate, currently 23%.
- Laser cutting and 3D printing prices are calculated automatically from your geometry and are binding once the order is confirmed.
- CNC machining is quoted as an estimate first. An engineer reviews the file and sends a final price, normally within one working day. You are not committed until you accept it.
- Business customers with a valid EU VAT number outside Poland may be invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.
- An obvious pricing error — a price that is clearly wrong, such as one off by an order of magnitude — does not bind us. We will tell you before producing anything and you may cancel with a full refund.
5. Payment and invoices
Production begins once payment is received.
- We accept cards, BLIK and Przelewy24 through our payment provider, and payment from your Fabrykuj wallet balance.
- A proforma invoice is available in your account as soon as the order is placed; the VAT invoice follows after payment.
- Wallet balance can be used for orders and is not transferable or exchangeable for cash outside a refund.
6. Lead times and delivery
The lead time shown at checkout is in working days and starts when payment clears, not when the order is placed.
- Lead times are estimates given in good faith. They are not guaranteed delivery dates unless we confirm one in writing.
- We deliver through a courier or to a parcel locker within Poland; other countries on request.
- Risk of loss passes to a business customer on handover to the carrier, and to a consumer on delivery.
- Check the parcel on arrival. Report visible transport damage to us within seven days.
7. Tolerances and what to expect
Manufactured parts are not identical to the model on your screen. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the following applies.
- Laser cutting: general tolerance ±0.2 mm; a cut edge shows a heat-affected zone and slight taper.
- 3D printing (FDM): ±0.5 mm or ±0.5%, whichever is greater; layer lines and support marks are normal.
- 3D printing (SLS/MJF): ±0.3 mm or ±0.3%; parts have a matte, grainy finish.
- CNC machining: ISO 2768-m unless your drawing specifies otherwise; sharp internal corners get a tool radius.
- Colour, surface finish and material batch may vary. If a dimension is critical, mark it on a drawing and tell us before ordering.
8. Your files and your responsibility
We manufacture what your file describes. We do not redesign it.
- You confirm that you own the rights to the file you upload, or have permission to have it made.
- You may not order parts that are illegal to manufacture — firearm components and their parts among them.
- We check files for manufacturability, not for whether the design works. Fitness for your purpose is your responsibility.
- You grant us the limited right to use your file solely to quote, manufacture and deliver your order. We claim nothing else.
9. Complaints and returns
If a part is wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
- Report a defect within 14 days of delivery, with photographs and your order number. We reply within 14 days.
- If the fault is ours, we remake the part or refund you. We choose which, after speaking to you.
- Consumers: parts are made to your specification, so the 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 38(1)(3) of the Consumer Rights Act does not apply. Your statutory rights for defective goods are unaffected.
- A part that is within the tolerances above is not defective.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, intentional damage, or anything else that cannot be limited under Polish law. Consumer rights are unaffected by this section.
- For business customers, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for it.
- We are not liable to business customers for lost profit, lost production or other indirect loss.
- We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Contact, changes and disputes
Write to us at kontakt@fabrykuj.pl — we answer every message.
- We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published when you place your order.
- Polish law governs this contract. Consumers keep the protection of their home country's mandatory rules.
- Disputes with business customers go to the court with jurisdiction over our registered office.
- Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, including the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
